That is what our Maravilla Resort unit feels like.  Some of our guests have been staying at this same unit, making memories, since the complex was built in 1995. Their children have grown up spending their summer vacation on the beach at Maravilla.

This tastefully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, in the heart of Destin, overlooks the crystal clear, emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico featuring 2 & 1/2 acres of private, gated, sugar white beaches.

Beach Time!

From early November through the end of February, our magical coastal community is a charming, quiet little fishing village. That all changes on March 1 as we prepare to share our little slice of heaven with visitors who come back year after year.

  


Spring Breakers are eager to dip their toes in the surf, go parasailing along the beach, learn to YOLO board, go out for a day of deep sea fishing, sailing, or just hanging out on the beach.  

The ultimate attraction of Destin is the incredible sugar white beaches and crystal clear, emerald-turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico creating a magical, memory making vacation spot.  Our shores are dotted with lush tropical palms fanned by gentle gulf breezes.

Just because summer is over doesn't mean that our beaches are closed!  Far from it.  Daytime temps are still hovering around 80 and the best part is that the beaches are not crowded as they are during peak tourist season.

Our vacation rental rates are discounted from October through December.  You can get some great accommodation deals as well as golf, fishing, water sports and many restaurants offer fall specials.

Tommy Bahama's at Grand Boulevard.  The crab bisque will bring tears to your eyes and a smile on your face.  The blackened fish tacos are awesome and don't forget their signature desserts!

 

If you're in the mood for some down-home seafood, you will want to try  Louisiana Lagniappe.  It's a perennial favorite with locals as well as tourists who visit year after year.  The seafood is always fresh and beautifully prepared.  Their hush puppy appetizers are divine! Be sure to arrive in time to watch the sunset on the Destin Harbor from their deck.

If you're in the mood for Italian food you simply can't miss La Famiglia near the harbor in Destin!  Truly authentic Italian food at its finest.  The warm, casual ambiance and the delightful aromas wafting from the kitchen will welcome you the minute you walk in the door. Kite Flyers on the Destin Harbor

There's always a celebration going on in Destin!

This weekend it was the professional kite flyers on Norriego Point.

There were sharks, jelly fish, and other marine life 

flying all over the Destin Harbor.

They offered kite flying lessons and demonstrations 

plus free kite making for kids.

And if that wasn't enough excitement, there was a YOLO 

(You Only Live Once - stand up boarding) board race.

 Kitty Hawk Kites at HarborWalk Village in Destin sponsored the event.

 

Our next BIG celebration is the Destin Fishing Rodeo 

the entire month of October!
